Getting on with Life

So I've told myself that just because I haven't finished my massive blog about my month away doesn't mean I can't update on what's been happening in my life recently. :v Chronology is whack on the Internet anyway.

So today, my mother put off intensive stove cleaning to visit the outside world. Yes, it's sad that I really haven't left my home since I've been back. But we went to Golden Gate Park (yes, I really have totally let go of being anonymous etc etc on the interwubs) and pedal-boated around Stow Lake. Also met Mr. Nice-Hats. Then I went to feed the various fauna living in the woods and feel a bit like Snow White.

Apropos of nothing, I really actually wanted to put up these photos of arm paintings I have done a few days ago. I got the idea in combining those crazy ink-pen nazca lines I'd draw on myself when I was bored in class back in high school and paint (and maybe even runes and cosplay, but that's something to kick under the closet)

Done two nights ago:
Totally on the spot. I mussed it up a bit (it's not exactly straight) and despite some lines that really shouldn't have been there, it's pretty good.

Done last night:
Just a quick practice on painting lines, but damn, really nicely done. Neat and has a nice overall shape. Slight smudge was due to faulty first dab of another design; the brush was too wet and the paint consistency was off.
